I want to get this working much cleaner. Right now, it uses TAR and a temporary directory which has some permissions problems with some server configurations. Additionally, the structure for the compressed file is tar.gz and I think we should probably move that to ZIP. We need a clean compression class that will generate zip files on the fly and serve them up with the same underlying directory structure of the collection.
